Pre-Market Technologies Get Attention from WBT08
Sematech, the University of Texas at Dallas, and
the University of Texas at Arlington
are hosting a Poster Session
to Showcase New University Research at WBT08
February 12, 2008 | Arlington, TX – Up to 50 of the newest university-based technologies will have a chance to advertise themselves to national investors and licensing scouts this March.
Sematech, the University of Texas at Dallas, and the University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington) will host a one-day poster session for “not-market-ready” technologies at the 2008 WBTshowcase (WBT08)
“This poster session is a great way for university-based technologies to engage with the community that can take them to market down the road,” said Kelsey Downum, Interim VP of Research at UT Arlington.
Each presenter selected for the poster session will be provided a forum to display a 4×8 poster related to their research and technology and the opportunity to network with a wide audience of venture capital investors, angel investors, entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 licensees.
A $100 registration fee is required for all selected poster participants and includes access to the exhibit hall and lunch on March 27th. There is no cost to submit an abstract.
