Paul Huleatt

Mr. Huleatt has over 10 years experience in venture capital investing, technology lending and leveraged debt financings. He currently serves as CEO of the World’s Best Technologies Showcase, an annual event showcasing seed and pre-seed stage technologies developed at top universities, federal labs, federal agencies and federally supported research and development institutions. Paul began his career as an Associate with First Interstate Equity Corporation, the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) of First Interstate Bank. He later served as Senior Associate with Wasatch Venture Fund, an SBIC and affiliate of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Prior to establishing the World's Best Technologies Showcase, Paul served as Vice President and Business Development Officer for the Arizona office of Silicon Valley Bank. Paul received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Northern Arizona University and his MBA from Arizona State University.
Amanda Radovic

Ms. Radovic joined the Development Capital Networks team in 2006 and currently serves as the Director for the World’s Best Technologies Showcase. Amanda is directly involved with producing the WBTshowcase, an annual event showcasing seed and pre-seed stage technologies developed at top universities, federal labs, federal agencies and federally supported research and development institutions. Prior to joining Development Capital Networks she managed a non profit organization. Amanda has also served in various capacities within federal and state agencies. She has over 7 years experience in human resources, management, administration, and marketing. Amanda is a graduate of The Evergreen State College where she earned her B.A. in Neuropsychology.

Jim Lewin

Mr. Lewin's background includes over 25 years in international, commercial and investment banking, and nearly a decade as the principal shareholder and CEO of a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business in California. He was most recently the Managing Partner of BizPlanIt, LLC, a consulting firm that assists clients in business planning a preparing to raise capital. During his 20 years at Security Pacific Bank, Jimmy served in a number of senior management positions in the U.S. and internationally. Applicable assignments included responsibility for the funding of all of the institution’s subsidiaries and affiliates domiciled outside of the U.S., general management of two overseas affiliates and general management of the bank’s California staff departments. For two years, he served as President, Director and CEO of Guardian Bancorporation, Los Angeles, California. Jimmy has extensive senior management and Board of Director experience within public companies. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he earned his B.A. in Political Science.

Lori Griffin

Ms. Griffin is a CPA with full bookkeeping, financial accounting, insurance, and audit responsibilities. She is responsible for maintaining financial records of each Development Capital Networks enterprise, producing financial reports for Development Capital Networks clients, and overseeing the financial affairs of the firm.
Sam DeNies

Web Developer


Mr. DeNies is the head of the IT department for Development Capital Networks. He is an expert in Lotus Notes, Domino Designer, JavaScript, HTML, and other forms of web software. He develops and maintains the web sites and databases for all Development Capital Networks enterprises, as well as providing technical assistance to all staff and maintaining the general network infrastructure.

Wiley Larsen

Mr. Larsen joined Development Capital Networks in February of 2008. Wiley comes from Lawrence, Kansas, where he helped launch a business development not-for-profit. Prior to that, Wiley served on the staff of U.S. Representative Tom Osborne in Nebraska, where he specialized in agriculture, clean energy, and education policy. He spent 8 years in public education and 3 years as a farm manager before entering politics. Wiley is originally from Minden, Nebraska and has his B.S. in Mathematics from Sterling College, and a M.S. from Kansas State University.
