Platform Technologies
First in Space
Close to Market
The WBTshowcase is the nation's premier event showcasing the largest collection of undiscovered technologies emanating from top universities, labs, and research institutions from across the country and around the globe.
Confirmed Investors and Licensees
Each year's Showcase represents the collaborative effort of investors, licensees, and tech commercialization professionals, offering an unparalleled forum that is both deal-focused and unbiased with regard to geography, funding source, or originating research institution. Participating technologies are selected by - and presented to - over 100 seasoned venture investors and Fortune 500 licensing scouts representing a variety of industries, each supported by private funding, federal R&D grants, or both. Most are presenting for the very first time. All selected presenters are coached and prepped in making concise, investor-oriented presentations seeking investment capital or licensing partners.
To mark the fifth anniversary of the WBT, the 2007 WBTshowcase will be produced in conjunction with the Federal Laboratory Consortium for Technology Transfer National Meeting, offering a one-time opportunity to attend both conferences in the same location. Come and discover why over 1 in 3 of our past presenters has been successful in raising almost $400 Million in first (or next) round capital or licensing their technologies.
We would like to congratulate this year's award winners,
